The Duke of Edinburgh award enables a young person to develop their mind, body and soul in a non-competitive environment. The award has the ability to elevate people’s self-confidence, skills and aspirations.
In school we currently have 100 pupils involved across all three levels (bronze, Silver and Gold). We are one of the few schools in the area who offer all three levels and we believe it provides participants with essential life skills. Through completing the various sections that make up the award participants develop:
