On Friday 24th March Dominican hosted a Careers Fair. The fair, organised by out Careers Department, was designed to invite as many potential companies and employers to the school as possible and to allow our pupils to experience and engage with a wide number of agencies as they decide upon future careers pathways.
On Friday the school welcomes Contributors from a range of industries including universities and representatives from public services, some of these people were familiar to the school and some we were delighted to welcome to Dominican for the first time.
Mr Carey, Head of Lower Sixth explained, “Our GCSE and AS and A level pupils had a really valuable the opportunity to engage with a range of professionals who are experts in their fields. The 2023 Careers Fair was a really enjoyable experience for our pupils and it is our hope in the Careers Department that this will become an annual event and that we can establish long term working relationships with the contributors who can support the provision of CEAIG in DCP”
