{module_photogallery,37004} The School would like to thank and congratulate pupils and parents for the hard work that has gone into getting the pupils settled and organised through all the new routine. Our pupils have been fantastic in their patience and compliance with this routine and keeping our school community as Covid-secure as possible at all times and ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our entire school community continues to be our utmost priority. From Tuesday 29th September we will implement the following revised schedule. Our school gates will be open from 8.40am and pupils will now enter by the Diamond and Pedestrian gates only. Pupils will continue to adhere to the one way system, practice safe social distancing, wear face coverings in public areas in school and on public transport and continue to wash their hands when directed. Pupils in Key Stage 3 All Junior pupils (Years 8, 9 and 10) will now come in by the Diamond gate and leave by this gate. Pupils in Year 8 and 10 wait at their designated mobiles and wash their hands at their usual locations beginning at 8.50am before moving on to registration for 9.00am. Pupils in Year 9 wait at the English room door and will be brought to the convent doors for handwashing as usual. Pupils in Key Stages 4 and 5 All Senior pupils (Years 11-14) will now use the Pedestrian Gate on Strand Road and leave by this gate. Year 14 pupils should wait at the boys’ toilet door and will wash their hands in the boys’/ girls’ toilets. Year 13 pupils should wait by the door near Room 18 (Science Lab) and will wash their hands in the boys’/ girls’ toilets. Year 11 and 12 pupils should wait on opposite sides of the main entrance and hand wash in the Science Labs. The revised times for classes are as follows: The doors will open at 8.50am to enable pupils to go to morning registration. Registration 9.00am to 9.10am Period 1 9.10am -10.05am Period 2 10.05am -11.00am Period 3 11.00pm -12.00pm Lunch 12.00pm -12.30pm Period 4 12.30pm -1.35pm Period 5 1.35pm-2.40pm Bus Arrangements Buses have now been provided by Translink at 2.20pm for Coleraine, 2.25pm for Portrush and 3.00pm for Ballymoney. Pupils who need to catch these buses will be allowed wash their hands and leave school by the nearest gate in time to get their bus. The Coleraine bus pupils can leave at 2.15pm The Portrush bus pupils can leave at 2.20pm Pupils leaving before 2.30pm for buses will wash their hands in the boys’ and girls’ toilets . Pupils who will travel on the 3pm Ballymoney bus will be directed to the assembly hall to wait there after they have washed their hands. For a downloadable copy click here.
