Well done to Tom Boorman who took part in a Cookery experience earlier this week with top chef Jim Farren.
Tom travelled to Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West on Saturday and by all accounts he had a brilliant experience.
Tom gained a lot of praise from his mentors on the day who commented, “Tom was a fantastic student. He took direction and cracked on in the kitchen with confidence and independence. During the day he learnt how to prep and cook. His menu for the day was shakshuka followed by steak, lime mayo, pickled red onion and salad baguette sandwiches. It was a great and inspirational afternoon for him to be able to cook under the tutelage of Jim Farren and he impressed greatly. At the end of his day in the kitchen we were delighted to be able to present him with the full uniform to keep and a wee goody bag as a memento of his time with us”.
