Study Leave (Supervised Study Sessions) Instructions Summer 2026
We are pleased to offer our pupils quiet, supervised study sessions in school from Tuesday 5 May, however the following rules apply to everyone:
- The Year 13 study centre is available to all pupils in year 11 (three weeks) to year 14 to use as a study area however everyone must follow the instructions enclosed.
- Pupils must attend in uniform.
- Pupils must check their examination timetables and take care to bring in the necessary books and materials for revision sessions or classes with teachers.
- Pupils must be mindful that these sessions are a quiet/silent study provision for all students who require a space conducive to individual concentration, revision and exam preparation.
- No eating is allowed during the study session. Water is permitted but not near computer equipment.
- All pupils must sign-in to the study centre (both AM session and PM session if using the study provision) OR if staying after an examination.
- All pupils must have permission from the study supervisor to go elsewhere during the sessions.
- No pupils can leave mid-session or join mid-session unless to do an examination.
- Lunch time is the first lunch time each day see session times below
- If you arrive to a study session after 9.10am you will not be allowed entry to use the school facilities for supervised study session. If you are late for the afternoon session you will not be permitted entry unless you have just finished an examination that morning.
- Pupils may NOT study anywhere else in the school unsupervised.
Session Times:
AM session 9.10am until 12.25pm
PM Session 13.05pm until 15.15pm
