Business Studies

The Business Studies curriculum is designed to equip pupils with the knowledge and skills needed to excel as employees or entrepreneurs. While fostering the critical thinking and learning skills essential for examination success, we strive to go beyond academics. As part of the GCSE course, students are taught a range of ICT packages and learn how to create digital solutions, further enhancing their preparedness for the modern workplace. Our goal is to nurture the innovators of the future by offering every pupil the chance to participate in team-based Young Enterprise learning projects. These projects help develop essential employability skills such as creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

KS3

At Key Stage 3 pupils are given the opportunity to gain some insight into business and enterprise, through Young Enterprise one-day programmes such as Project Business. This allows them to sample some of the concepts and processes that they will encounter at GCSE.
